Dermatologists often prescribe the active ingredients that you find in our Triple Lightening cream to treat uneven skin tone and pigmentation caused by sun exposure or hormonal changes, or possibly to improve the appearance of acne scars. Our triple lightening cream consists of a steroid, which is either triamcinolone or hydrocortisone, hydroquinone, a bleaching agent, and tretinoin, which is a retinoid that helps bring skin cells to the surface.

Applying Triple Lightening Cream

Before you apply triple lightening cream, make sure that the area you are applying it to is clean and dry. Apply a very thin layer of the cream to the skin area and rub it in completely. Keep repeating this application process until the treatment is completed or otherwise directed by you provider.

It is generally recommended to use this product every other day, or even every third day to begin with. Applying it at the same time consistently is recommended so you won’t forget about it.  You should slowly build up to daily use over a month or more if your skin can tolerate it.

Do not worry if, after the first week or two, you don’t see any noticeable changes in the affected area. The effects of triple lightening cream might not become noticeable until up to 4 weeks after the initial application.

Common Side Effects

The most common side effects associated with triple lightening cream are mild skin irritation, dryness, and slight peeling. To treat these symptoms, you can apply a moisturizer onto the area 10-15 minutes before you apply the medication.

It is also recommended that you apply sunscreen daily while using this medication to avoid sunburn or potential skin darkening. Also remember to Wear protective clothing anytime you are going outside due to the increased risk of developing a sunburn.

Please, do not use triple lightening cream if you are pregnant or may become pregnant as it may lead to birth defects. If you end up getting pregnant during the treatment process, stop immediately and consult with your doctor on how to proceed. If you are thinking about getting pregnant after the treatment, please allow 1-2 months for the medication to get out of your system.

Typically, treatment with triple lightening cream should not exceed 3 months in order to avoid rebound hyperpigmentation, reduced tolerance, and severe skin reactions. If you need to continue treatment after the 3 month period, stop and talk with your doctor about how to proceed.

How To Store It

We recommend storing your triple lightening cream in your refrigerator when you are not using it to extend the shelf-life of the product. To keep your medication cool and prevent any integrity loss to it, we will ship it to you with ice packs. These ice packs may melt during the shipping process, but your medication will still be safe to use. The recommended by use date for the medication is 30 days.
